Beef Ribs Sinigang is a Filipino ethnicity cuisine, the Traditional meal is prepared with beef, chicken, pork and some people prefer prawns. Also, different vegetables are added like kan kong, eggplant, radish, green chilies, and okra. It's cooked on a pressure cooker to tenderize meat ribs. The meal is ready within 2-3 hours
Ingredients for Beef Ribs Sinigang
Beef Ribs – 3lbsSinigang sa Sampaloc mix – 40gm pack
Eggplant – 1
Kangong – 1 bunch
Okra – Ladyfinger – 8 – 10
Tomatoes – 2 medium
Green chilies – 3
Radish labnos – 1 small sliced
Onion – 1 sliced
Snake beans sitaw – 10 – 2 inch pieces
Onion – 1 medium
Water – 8 – 10 cups
Patis – 2 ½ tbsp
Black pepper crushed – ¼ tsp
Beef Ribs Sinigang Preparation method
Wash beef ribs and put ribs and water in a pressure cooker.
Pressure cook the ribs for 25 to 30 minutes on low flame.
Make sure the beef is tender then add to a large cooking pot
Now add tomatoes and onions and cook the mix for 3 minutes.
Add the Sinigang Sampaloc mix and stir the stew.
Now add the daikon radish into the ribs mixture, cover, and cook for 5 minutes
Now add okra, snake beans, eggplant, kangkong stalks, green peppers, mix and cover to cook on a medium flame for 5 minutes.
Now open the lid and add patis and black pepper,
Now put off the flame and add kangong leaves to the stew and leave the pot covered for 5 minutes.
Beef Ribs Sinigang is ready to serve.
Serving – 5 people.
