Ingredients
Meat (either goat meat, beef or chicken)
Pounded wheat
Ghee
Lentils(barley, wheat, dal mash, dal channa, dal masoor)
Ginger and garlic paste
Turmeric
Red cillies powder
Coriander powder
Salt
Cumin seed
Caraway seeds (shahzeera)
Cinnamon
Cardamom
Cloves
Black pepper
Saffron
Jaggery
Chat masala
Preparation
Heat oil in a pan.
In a separate pan boil wheat grains with lots of water, add salt.
Now mix the wheat grains with the meat and mix well.
Pour the lentil paste into the meat and wheat mixture and stir to mix well.
Fry the sliced onion in oil and drain on an absorbent paper towel.
It is served hot topped with a ghee-based gravy, pieces of lime, chopped coriander, and fried onions as garnish.
