Masala Fry Gosht Beef marination
Boneless beef cut in stripes 2 lbs
Soya sauce 2 tablespoons
Vinegar 1 tablespoon
Black pepper 1/2 teaspoon
Green chillies chopped 1 tablespoon
Crushed red chilli 1/2 teaspoon
Ginger garlic paste 1 tablespoon
Sesame oil 1 teaspoob
Salt 1/2 teaspoon or to taste
For curry
Onion 1 small, chopped
Tomatoes 3 skinless, chopped
Red chilli pwd 1/2 teaspoon
Haldi 1/4 teaspoon
Dhania pwd 1/2 teaspoon
Zeera pwd 1/2 teaspoon
All spice pwd 1/4 teaspoon
Chilli sauce 1 tablespoon
Black pepper crused 1/2 teaspoon
Lemon juice 1 tablespoon
Green chillies 2
Onions 1/2 cubed
Bell pepper 1/2 cubed
Green corriender for garnish
Coal for smoke
Marinate beef with all the ingredients for a few hours or overnight.
In a wok add 2-3 tablespoons oil, add
Chopped garlic (2 cloves), 1 green chilli julienne cut, and a few curry leaves. Fry for a minute, add beef and fry for 8-10 mins till all the water evaporates and beef turnes nice golden.
Take out the meat and set it aside.
In the same pan, add oil. Fry chopped onions till light golden. Add tomatoes and all the spices. Cover and cook on low flame till tomatoes are tender and masala is formed.
Add beef, 1/4 cup water and cook till the meat is completely cooked.
Add lemon juice, onion and bell pepper cubed, and give coal smoke.
Garnish with hara dhania and serve hot with naans. ( can also be served with plain rice)
