Authentic recipe by the head chef of the restaurant
Steak Marination
Breast fillet ½ kg
Oil ½ cup
Mustard paste 1½tbsp
Mustard Powder 1½tbsp heaped
Red chilli powder 1tbsp
Black pepper powder ½tbsp
Chinese salt 1tbsp
Salt 1tbsp
Chilli sauce 6tbsp
Freshly minced garlic 1tbsp
Worcestershire sauce 3tbsp
H.P. sauce 2tbsp
White pepper powder ½tbsp
Take a large mixing bowl. Pour the oil and then add all the ingredients in the mixing bowl. Mix all the ingredients properly. Marinate the fillets in it.
For grilling the steaks:
use 1tsp unsalted butter on a grill pan and heat it and then grill the steak. Steaks are ready.
Mushroom Sauce
This recipe is for one steak
Butter ½tsp
Fresh garlic chopped ¼tsp
Chopped onion ½tsp
Mushroom water for making mixture thin
Milk pack cream 50gram
Milk ½ cup
Chicken powder 1tsp
White pepper ¼tsp
Mushrooms 3-4tsp sliced and sauteed in ½tsp butter
In a wok melt butter on medium heat. Add finely chopped onion and chopped garlic in it. Saute till it turns light brown. Add sauteed mushrooms and stir for a while and remove it from the fire.
Now in a separate bowl add cream and milk, whisk it and then add it in a wok and stir it.
Now put the wok back on fire on medium heat. Keep stirring and add chicken powder and white pepper powder.
Cook the mixture on medium heat till it becomes slightly thick. If it's getting thicker then you can thin it by using mushroom water.
The mushroom sauce is ready.
Black PepperSauce
This recipe is also for one steak
Butter ½tsp
Garlic chopped ¼tsp
Onion chopped ½tsp
Water as required
Knorr Demi glacé Powder 1tbsp
Black pepper fresh crushed ½tsp
White vinegar ( KEY company) 2tbsp
In a wok, melt butter on medium heat. Add finely chopped onion and chopped garlic in it. Saute it till it turns light brown. Took it from fire
In a separate cup add 1tbsp demi glacé powder and take half cup water and stir it. The powder should get dissolved in it. Now put the wok back on fire on medium heat and add the mixture and keep stirring. Now add black pepper crushed and vinegar in it. Cook till the mixture is creamy. Remove from heat.
Black pepper sauce is also ready.
Veggies
French beans
Carrot
Zucchini
Give a quick boil and take out the veggies. The veggies should not be soft. Now in a pan add 1tbsp butter and stir fry them on high flame. Sprinkle 1-2 pinch of white pepper, oregano and salt.
Veggies are ready.
IMPORTANT POINTS
1. Use un saltled butter which is used for baking. You can get it easily from a nearby bakery.
2. The sauces must not be too runny. They should be like a creamy texture.
3. If you are making mushroom sauce in a big amount you can add mushroom water as well for a good taste.
4. Chef told me to use KEY company sauces and Knorr Chicken powder only.
5. Knorr Demi glacé powder isn't available everywhere. You can get it from big supermarkets like Imtiaz supermarket, Naheed supermarket, Agha's etc.
