Ingredients for Apple Jam
3 cups peeled and diced apples
3 cups white sugar
1/4 cup water
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon salt
Apple Jam preparation method
Cook apples with water. Once a little warm , add sugar and stir thoroughly. Wait for sugar to soften the apples further. The color will turn amber and apples will become super soft. Puree them with hand mixer and add lemon. Take it off the heat and mix in salt.
Almost 2 full mason jars were made from this recipe.
