Pizza Shawarma Sandwich is a tempting cheesy tummy filling snack. It is prepared in homemade pita bread and is filled with a tender juicy chicken and lots of yumillicious sauces which make it simply delicious


Ingredients for Pizza Shawarma Sandwich
  • Chicken boneless 200 gm
  • yogurt 1/4 cup
  • garlic & ginger chopped 1 tbsp
  • salt 1/4 tsp or to taste
  • cumin powder 1/4 tsp
  • turmeric powder 1/4 tsp
  • red chili powder 1/2 tsp
  • dry Coriander powder 1 tsp
  • tandoori masala 1 tsp
  • lemon juice 1 tbsp
  • Oil 1 tbsp
  • capsicum Chopped
  • onion chopped
  • pita/shawarma bread
  • chili garlic sauce
  • mozzarella cheese grated
  • Tikka Mayonnaise
  • red chili flakes


Method for Pizza Shawarma Sandwich
  • In a bowl put the boneless chicken
  • Add yogurt,
  • Add chopped ginger-garlic
  • Add salt
  • Add cumin powder
  • Add turmeric
  • Add dry coriander powder
  • Add red chili powder
  • Add tandoori powder
  • Add lemon juice
  • mix well cover and marinate for 30 minutes
  • In a pan put oil and add marinated chicken
  • cover the lid and cook for 8-10 minutes.
  • after 10 minutes dry the remaining water and add chopped capsicum and chopped onion and mix well.
  • In a baking pan grease it with butter
  • Place pita bread and spread chili garlic sauce then spread the cooked chicken mixture.
  • spread grated mozzarella cheese.
  • sprinkle some chili flakes
  • drizzle some tikka Mayonaise
  • cover it with another pita bread upon tikka Mayonaise
  • again spread grated cheese and drizzle some tikka mayonnaise and sprinkle chili flakes
  • bake it in a preheated oven at 180*
  • You can also put it in a frypan and cover and cook until cheese melts.
  • Cut into small triangle pieces and serve
