Cinnamon Rolls Recipe
Cinnabon Cinnamon Roll Recipe
Soft Cinnamon Rolls
DOUGH PREPS:
1 tbsp active dry yeast (I have used Italiano)
1/4 cup warm water
1/4 cup (4 tablespoons) salted butter, melted and warm (I have used Adams)
1/4 cup caster or powdered sugar
1 cup milk, room temperature
3 cups maida/all-purpose flour (sifted), plus more for kneading
Let's start making dough!🤩

3 cups maida/all-purpose flour (sifted), plus more for kneading
Let's start making dough!🤩
STEP # 01:
Take a small bowl, add water and yeast. Gently stir to combine and add a pinch of sugar. Let sit until mixture turns foamy, about 15-20 minutes.
STEP # 02:
Take another small bowl, add butter and whisk in the remaining sugar and the milk.
STEP # 03:
Now take a big bowl, add flour. Make space in the center of the bowl and add both the yeast and milk mixture. Using a spatula, gently stir the ingredients together until the flour is completely mixed. Turn the dough onto a clean, lightly floured surface and knead for good 5 minutes. The dough will be quite sticky, flour the surface, as needed. The kneaded dough should be smooth and still slightly sticky. Transfer it to a lightly oiled bowl, Cling wrap or cover with a towel, and place in a warm place for 1-2 hours or until doubled.
FILLING PREPS:
1/4 cup butter, melted and cooled ( I have used Adams)
1/4 cup castor sugar(barek cheenii)
1/4 cup brown sugar ( I have used Motherchoice, locally available)
1 tablespoon cinnamon powder or more to taste
STEP# 04:
Mix everything except butter and keep it aside.
STEP # 05:
Lightly punch down the dough and remove it from the bowl. Now knead it for exactly 2 minutes. Keep sprinkling flour and keep kneading.
Roll the dough in a rectangular shape. Spread butter and the filling mixture. Roll and cut with the help of a thread. Place the cinnamon rolls in your prepared dish/pan/pyrex glass dish. Whatever suits you.
At this point, cover the pan with cling wrap and keep it at a warm place for a half-hour.
****IMPORTANT****
You can refrigerate it overnight to bake fresh for the next day!!!!!
STEP # 06:
For Oven: preheat for 20 mins at 180°C and bake at 150°C for 30 minutes.
For Stove: preheat for 20 minutes on medium flame and bake for 30 minutes on medium flame.
STEP # 07:
When baked, spread butter and let it cool.
CREAM CHEESE FROSTING:
Half cup icing sugar
3 tbsp cream cheese
1 tbsp salted butter (I have used Adams)
3 drops of vanilla essence
OR YOU CAN PREPARE THIS VANILLA GLAZE TOO!
