Chicken Burger

Burger Patty:
1lb chicken mince
1 small onion
1 small tomato
2 cloves garlic
1/2 tbsp paprika
1/2 tbsp black pepper
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp cajun
1 egg
1 slice bread
1/2 tbsp sugar
Salt to taste
In a frying pan, add chopped onions, garlic, and tomatoes. Add sugar and caramelize them. Once done, add all the seasonings/spices and saute. Blend the mix with egg and bread. Fold the blended paste in the mince and mix well.
Shape patties and grill them. Melt a slice of cheese and if you like crush flaming Cheetos or ritz crackers on top. Cover for 2 mins to allow cheese to melt on the patty.
Sauces and Toppings
Mix ketchup with sriracha, a hint of bbq and buffalo sauce.
Mix mayo with chipotle sauce and honey mustard. You can add a bit of Nandos pepper sauce (not peri peri). Add black pepper to taste.
Coleslaw:
Mayo, cream, slaw (cabbage and carrot) and sugar to taste
Jalapenos
Cajun seasoned onions
If you’re adventurous with your food:
Add peanut butter to the ketchup mix
Pineapple
Strawberries
Assembly:
Toast buns
Spread ketchup mix on the base
Put a lettuce leaf (I don’t like it)
Place the patty
Put onions and jalapeños
Pineapple and strawberries
Drizzle the chipotle mayo
Spoon some coleslaw
Top the bun
