Lahori Charga Ingredients
chicken 1 kg washed and dried
Yogurt 3 tbsp
Chili powder 1 tbsp
Black.pepper 1 tsp
Freshly squeezed lemon 2-3
Ginger garlic paste1-2 tbsp
Yellow color pinch
Salt to taste
Allspice powder1 tsp
Chat masala 1 tsp + 1 tsp
Zeera powder 1 1/2tsp
Lahori Charga preparation method
Firstly wash chicken.
Dry and put deep cuts on it.
In a bowl add 2 -3tbsp yogurt, 1 tbsp chili powder, 1tsp blk pepper, lemon juice, 1-2 tbsp ginger garlic paste, a pinch of yellow food color, salt, 1 tsp allspice and 1 tsp chat masala 11/2 tsp roasted zeera powder
Mix together with chicken and marinate it for 2 hours.
In a deep vessel, steam the chicken on low flame for 20 minutes till water evaporates
Then deep fry it until golden brown and cooked properly.
Lastly, sprinkle remaining chat masala and serve with paratha salad, chutney, and raita.
